The Full Armor of God

Dear beloved ones, do not despair, there is a way, a better way for you and everyone around you.

Have you ever lost your temper? Felt unloved? Have doubt? Have low self-esteem? Believed someone betrayed you? Were a victim of bad intended gossip? Felt afraid of facing the truth or anxious not knowing what to do? Found yourself saying to yourself: “there must be something better than this?”  These and similar others that you might know of are common states when your spiritual guard is down. Even when everything seems fine and dandy, keep your spiritual guard up. Counter-interactive forces seem to always be present in the atmosphere, therefore, keeping your spiritual armor up at all times is the best defense you can have not only to protect yourself but also those around you who might be vulnerable when your spiritual armor is down.

We protect ourselves not only to prevent outcomes that might damage us, but also to protect what our own non-righteous actions could do to others.  Righteousness is found within the Armor of God (Eph 6:13); the protective shield that keeps us from spiritual and physical disintegration.

In a letter to the Ephesians, Paul writes about the Armour of God (Eph 6:11); “Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” (KJV).

If you have not done so yet, do it today, arm yourself with the best weapon of defense, the armor that will keep you out of trouble, help you advance, and enhance the warrior in you when evil forces try to knock you down.

Put on the Full Armor of God today.

  Peace and Grace,

  Rev. Jeannie Franks.
